Khalifa University offers four residential facilities, designated separately for male and female students at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, ensuring a comfortable and well-structured living environment for all residents. Located near the university campuses, the residences provide a safe, inclusive, and vibrant community where students from across the UAE and around the world come together to live, learn, and grow. With modern facilities and a welcoming environment, Khalifa University Residences are more than just a place to stay, they are a home away from home.

The University offers separate residential quarters for male and female students:

Housing Type: Furnished apartment-style buildings with kitchens and living areas. All rooms include a bed, side table, lamp, study desk, chairs, and wardrobe. Most rooms are double occupancy; single rooms subject to availability and additional charges. Wi-Fi throughout. Note: All Masdar City Residence units are single occupancy.
Communal Kitchen: All apartment-style residences feature a communal kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, refrigerator, and microwave. Students are expected to supply their own kitchen utensils and cookware.
Security: All housing facilities are monitored with CCTV cameras and dedicated security teams, providing students with a safe and secure place to call home.
Resident Assistant Program: The Resident Assistant Program empowers student leaders to create a vibrant and inclusive residential experience, facilitating activities that promote personal growth, community engagement, and seamless connection between residents and university support services.

+ Undergraduate
Students residing more than 80 kilometers from the city of Abu Dhabi are eligible for on-campus housing, subject to availability and reservation priority.
Students are assigned to double shared accommodation by default; however, single rooms are available upon request, subject to availability and applicable semester fees. For further details, please refer to the Fees and Payment Guidelines.
+ Postgraduate
Postgraduate housing is available, subject to availability, to full-time registered medical, Master’s, and PhD students residing more than 80 km from Abu Dhabi, as well as international and exchange students. Where applicable, a rental fee is charged per semester and deducted from the monthly stipend. For further details, please refer to the Fees and Payment Guidelines.
